Italian contemporary  dance & Art Event in New York City

Event produced & curated by FLUSSO dance project in collaboration with the italian Cultural Institute, NY.

FLUSSO dance project is running the Festival Week since 2015, it's an annual contemporary dance and art event in NYC. A wide variety of artistic styles have been presented, with over 20 dance companies every year, artists and filmmakers to participate. Dance workshops, creative residencies, thematic Round-tables, site specifics, dance performances and an opening event are included in the Festival week. Events  held in various locations;  in 2017 all dance performances to be held at the Rose Nagelberg Theatre @ the BARUCH Performing arts center,NYC.

IDACO aims at functioning as a container for the work of Italian artists or at least with an Italian component, succeed in creating unique and original scenic paths through body awareness, movement and the contemporary world. The Mission is to promote the new Italian contemporary dance and Italian Artists related to the NYC contemporary dance, music, theater and visual arts scene, encouraging the new face of the Italian dance research connected to the multiple creative resources of the NYC performing arts field.
